Hey there, I’m Jenny! Welcome to My Science Kitchen.

I am a food lover and chemical engineer living in Santa Barbara. Outside the kitchen (and work) I can be found walking trails with my dog, swimming, and knitting.

My Science Kitchen was created out of my love for both food and science. I love to learn WHY things work and let that curiosity drive my blog posts. This site will be part cookbook, part lab notebook, and 100% fun. I hope to share delicious recipes and kitchen experiments while exploring the science behind the food we eat.
